A Beauteous Queen-sized Quilt is up next

I just love all the colors in this quilt.  I've been asked to do an all over large e2e (edge to edge) meander quilt stitch as my customer wanted a soft cuddly ahhhhh quilt. :) 

Sweet Baby Quilt

This quilt was pieced by a soon-to-be grandmother.   I know her new granddaughter will LOVE it!!

Per customer request, I quilted it with flowers and hearts.  I love my "job"!

Creating a Quilt Top on a Treadle Machine

Today I'm going to treadle quilt blocks

on my treadle sewing machine. I LOVE using these old machines - this one just purrs like a little kitten. 

I'm using up a lot of my scraps in this quilt. I've got my scraps cut into 1 inch, 1 1/2 inch, and 2 inch strips and then I sew them onto an old phone book page. Why the phone book page?  It adds stabilization as I sew and is easily removed afterwards.  

Charity Quilt

It was a joy to work on this customer quilt that was donated for a charity sale.
I used both free motion quilting and ruler work.  LOVE it!!  Happy colors!!
